Capacity and energy efficiency are highly comparable on both options within the rated working range. While R32 provides an excellent balance of performance and safety for large global operations, R32 faces future phase-downs in strict regulatory markets. Control Panel and Humidity Sensor

The LCD touch panel shows real-time RH, target RH setting, fan speed and timer status. Why four caster wheels instead of the more common two-wheel handle design?

Four caster wheels let one operator push or pivot the unit in any direction without lifting the handle end of a two-wheel cart. In confined facility spaces — between archive shelf rows, around switchgear bays, in basement utility rooms — multi-directional mobility matters more than fast straight-line wheeling. Two-wheel handle designs are better when units travel longer distances on flat warehouse floors. The trade-off with caster wheels: they need reasonably flat hard floors. Rough concrete, expansion joints and thresholds slow them down.

How does the continuous drain hose connection work?

The rear of the unit has a threaded G1/2" port that accepts the supplied 3-meter reinforced PVC hose. Connect the hose, route it with a continuous downward slope, and end it at a floor drain, utility sink or sump. There is no built-in pump on this model, so the drain point must sit below the outlet height. Can this small portable dehumidifier operate below 5 °C?
